About Rainbow Coating Machine
When ceramic thin films can be formed on metal surfaces using the DC magnetron machine, films in 7 different colors can be formed. The colors, ranging from red to violet like a rainbow, are determined by the light interference phenomenon depending on the thickness of the film.
The properties of the ceramic thin film not only give it various colors but also protect the metal surface from scratches and corrosion.

Use of Rainbow Coating Machine
- Formation of metal, metal nitride and metal oxide thin films (Al2O3、TiO2、TiN)
- Ion irradiation improves thin film adhesive strength
Processing Principles
Realization of a thin film that changes color depending on the viewing angle by adjusting the film pressure of the high transparency alumina thin film, which has a transparency of more than 90%.
Improves friction and corrosion resistance.
Film formation temperatures of 40 - 100℃ allows processing of resins as well.
